Dear Space Coast REALTORS,

The 2026 election for the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors is approaching. This year's ballot will include the election of three (3) Directors as well as a vote on the Proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws.

We encourage all REALTOR® members to take a few minutes before voting opens to review the candidates and the proposed Bylaw changes.

The ballot will also include links to each candidate's member profile and qualifications.

Proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws

In addition to electing your 2026 Directors, REALTOR® members will be asked to consider proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws.

Over the past several months, the Bylaws Task Force has met on ten (10) occasions, dedicating more than 28 hours to a comprehensive review of the Association's Bylaws. Following the Task Force's review, the proposed amendments were reviewed by Association legal counsel and approved by the Board of Directors on August 5, 2026.

The proposed amendments modernize and reorganize the Bylaws, incorporate recent changes to Florida nonprofit law and National Association of REALTORS® requirements, and clarify several governance provisions to better serve the Association and its membership.

Review the Proposed Changes

To help members understand what is being proposed, we are providing three documents for review:

Bylaw Ballot Question

Members will be asked:

Shall the proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Space Coast Association of REALTORS®, as reviewed by Association legal counsel and approved by the Board of Directors on August 5, 2026, be adopted?

YES – Adopt the proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws.

NO – Retain the current Bylaws.

Important Voting Dates
