It is with great sadness that the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® shares the passing of respected industry professional, community leader, and valued association member since 2016, Paul Joyal, who passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Paul’s life and career represented the very best of our industry and community. A graduate of the University of Florida and Florida Institute of Technology, Paul first served our nation through the Space Program. He worked with Pan-American World Airways and The Boeing Company during some of America’s most historic missions, from Alan Shepard’s first manned space flight through the Apollo, Skylab, and Apollo-Soyuz programs.
In 1974, alongside his brothers Bob and Danny, Paul co-founded Joyal Homes, where he served as President and helped lead the construction of more than 2,000 homes throughout our region. His commitment to excellence earned numerous local, state, and national honors, including Brevard County Builder of the Year, Florida Builder of the Year, induction into the Housing Hall of Fame, and recognition for constructing Brevard County’s first LEED Gold-Certified home.
Since joining the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® in 2016, Paul remained a respected and supportive presence within our membership and the local building industry.
Paul will be remembered for his integrity, professionalism, leadership, and unwavering character. His impact on our community and the lives of those who knew him will not be forgotten.

Visitation will take place from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the smaller hall, followed by the funeral mass from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
