o Affordable Housing Advisory Council - The Affordable Housing Council reviews the established policies and procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, and the County's adopted comprehensive plan and shall recommend specific initiatives to encourage and facilitate affordable housing while protecting the ability of the property to appreciate in value.

o Art in Public Places Advisory Committee - The Art in Public Places Advisory Committee is established to make recommendations to the County Commission on the selection of art that will be exhibited in places available to the public for their cultural enrichment and appreciation.

o Audit Committee - The Audit Committee oversees the County's auditing functions; develops an annual audit work plan for internal auditing of the Board agencies; and monitors the productivity and performance of the auditing process.

o Board of Adjustment - The Brevard County Board of Adjustment (BOA) is a quasi-judicial body consisting of five regular members and alternate members, all of whom are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The BOA is empowered to hear and decide variances to the Zoning Code and Sign Code found in Chapter 62, Articles VI and IX. The BOA meets once a month, usually the third Wednesday of the month. The BOA meetings are open to the public.
