REALTORS® Give Back: Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Hosts 2025 Project Prom, Supporting Over 500 Local Students
PALM SHORES, FL – April 11, 2025 – The Space Coast Association of REALTORS® proudly demonstrated the power of community and compassion during its 2025 Project Prom event, held on Saturday, March 15. This cherished annual initiative provided more than 500 local students with free formalwear, ensuring each teen could attend prom with confidence—without the stress of financial hardship.
Fueled by donations from REALTOR® members, community residents, and local businesses, Project Prom is a shining example of how REALTORS® do more than help people buy and sell homes—they help build stronger communities.
“This event is a reflection of the deep compassion and generosity that lives within our community,” said Lindsey Ruschak, CEO of the Space Coast Association of REALTORS®. “Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every smiling student reminds us why we do this—it’s about making dreams come true.”
Held at the Association in Brevard County, the venue was transformed into a dazzling prom boutique. Students were welcomed with personalized styling assistance, a warm lunch, refreshments, and even photography to capture the day.
Over 40 volunteers—including REALTORS®, affiliate partners, and community advocates—dedicated their time and energy to help students feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Their roles ranged from steaming and organizing attire to helping students find the perfect outfit.
“Project Prom is proof that when REALTORS® and community members unite for a cause, incredible things happen,” said Rusty Melle, 2025 President of the Space Coast Association of REALTORS®. “We are honored to be part of something that brings joy and confidence to so many young people.”
Project Prom continues to grow, further cementing the Association’s dedication to community service and its commitment to going beyond the transaction. With continued support, the program aims to help even more students shine for years to come.
