In the first quarter of 2021 we were made aware that a real estate brokerage was acquiring our current showing service, ShowingTime. When that news broke, we sent out a survey to our members on the products that come with your Association membership. Based on the survey results we began searching for a new showing service.
After hours of research by your Tech Committee we are happy to announce that we have contracted with Local Showings to provide a user-friendly showing service platform effective March 1st.
We will run the new showing service parallel with ShowingTime for one month, then ShowingTime will be disabled.
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU START USING THE NEW SHOWING SERVICE STARTING MARCH 1ST SO THAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THE NEW PROGRAM, AS OF APRIL 1ST SHOWINGTIME WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE.
Note: if your office is currently under contract for the enhanced ShowingTime call service, use of that service will continue to be an option for you.
The Local Showings platform will allow members to:
- Schedule showings of any listing in Space Coast MLS
- Offer a calendar view of available times
- Generate seller reports
- Highlight feedback
- Facilitate communication with other agents
- Offers a mobile app and desktop version
We are in the process of scheduling virtual trainings and that schedule should be out within the week.
