The Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Community Outreach Committee will be participating in relief efforts as a drop-off site to benefit the residents of The Bahamas, where various islands have been hit hard by Hurricane Dorian’s devastating strength.
In conjunction with Brevard’s Relief for the Bahamas from Hurricane Dorian coalition, under the lead of Paul Alfrey, Melbourne City Council Member D5, we will receive all donations beginning Friday, September 6, at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, September 13, 5:00 p.m., at the Association building, 2950 Pineda Plaza Way, Palm Shores. During weekends of after-hours please donate directly to the cargo hold #4A Aerospace Blvd. in Melbourne.
Please limit donations to:
- Non-Perishable Foods (Unopened)
- Can Foods and unopened packaged foods
- Baby Food / Formula
- Baby bottles / Baby Wipes \ Baby Diapers
- Gently used children and adult clothing and shoes
- Over the Counter Medications
- Trash Bags / Masking Tape / Extension Cords
- Flashlights and Batteries / Tarps
- Mosquito nets and Bug Repellant Lotion
- Towels, sheets, blankets, and sleeping bags
- Air mattresses & hand pumps
- Toilet Papers and Hygiene products (M&F)
- Candles / Matches
- Utensils, Paper plates & cups, and paper towels
- Dog and Cat Food
- *NO AEROSOL ITEMS
