The Florida Realtors / Florida Bar As-IS contract is the real estate purchase contract of choice

throughout most of Florida. This legal document (and its associated addenda) create the

foundation for a successful real estate transaction. Many issues can be avoided by clearly

understanding the terms of the contract and the implications of what is written. As real estate

licensees, you are not able to practice law...however, you help facilitate the transactions

(transaction brokerage agency) or represent your client (single agency) in a knowledgeable and

prudent manor.

This course will review the Florida Realtors / Florida Bar As-IS contract in detail and answer

common questions that arise. While it is your responsibility to have a thorough understanding

of the contract documents you use, specific legal questions and implications should always be

answered by an attorney.
