The Space Coast Association of REALTORS® hosted their annual Waterway Cleanup Project on July 21, 2023. This joint effort was initiated by The Community Outreach Committee, The Young Professionals Network, and included the Association's Members along with their friends and families.

The cleanup project aims to restore the beauty of Florida Waterways by removing debris and other pollutants that threaten the ecosystem. The participants have committed to donating their time and resources to this important cause regularly. The cleanup project is held each summer with volunteers working together to ensure the success of the project.

With a turnout of approximately 65 dedicated members, along with their friends and family, we worked tirelessly in the Florida heat for several hours to clean up the side of 528, The Beachline.

Together, we managed to collect tons of of garbage and debris, making a significant impact on the cleanliness of our community.

As a token of our appreciation, each volunteer was presented with a stylish Space Coast Association of REALTORS® long-sleeved UV shirt. The excitement was palpable as everyone proudly donned their new shirts, representing our commitment to preserving and beautifying our environment. Furthermore, thanks to the generous support of Florida REALTORS®, each volunteer also received a trendy Cleanup Florida Waterways hat, completing their ensemble of appreciation.

After our hard work, we gathered at a local restaurant to celebrate our accomplishments. The appetizers and refreshments provided were a big hit, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company. We were delighted to have that time to spend with one another and share laughs and stories from the day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make our waterway cleanup event a tremendous success. Your commitment to our community and the environment is truly commendable. Together, we are making a real difference, one cleanup at a time. We're looking forward to the next one!
