Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Installs New Board of Directors

PALM SHORES, FL, January 11, 2019 – On January 11, 2019, the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® will install its 2019 president and Board of Directors. This all-volunteer leadership team will steer the largest trade organization in Brevard County throughout the year, ensuring that its commitments to property owners, REALTOR® members and local communities are met or exceeded.

During the installation, the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® 2018 President Mike Artelli will hand the gavel over to 2019 President Dennis Basile. Former Florida Realtors® District Vice President, current Space Coast Association Board member and close friend, Director Mike Selig, will install the new president.

Florida Realtors® President-Elect Barry Grooms will install the 2019 Officers: Melissa Goldman, Reagan Masone, Pat Weeks, and Board of Directors: Mike Artelli, Dan Barber, Jim Britton, Dave Gaudreau, Lynnette Hendricks, Louise McLean, Kerry Ramage, Mike Selig and Lynn Whelpley. Each member of the Board of Directors was elected to serve a three-year term.

During the gala, 13 newly minted REALTOR® Emeritus members will be honored for having maintained National Association of REALTORS® membership for 40 or more years. These members will be recognized for their valuable and lasting contributions to the real estate profession and their community. The evening will also include an awards presentation.

This will be the Space Coast Association of REALTORS®' second installation gala in its new building in Palm Shores. In 2017, the Association sold both of its buildings and broke ground on a new one in a centralized location to better serve its members. The Association opened the doors of the 15,000-square-foot building in January of 2018. Both installation galas sold out in advance.

Special guests for the 2019 Installation Gala will include Florida Realtors® President-Elect Barry Grooms and his wife Sherry, Flagler County Association of Realtors® CEO Dorothy Sperber and her husband George, New Symrna Beach Board of REALTORS® President Ginger Steger and her husband Scott, Daytona Beach Association of Realtors® 2018 President Debbie Callahan and her husband Tommy and the Osceola County Association of Realtors® 2016 President Jeff Perry and CEO Twis Lizauain.

*The Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Installation Gala will be held on Jan. 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Association office, which is located at 2950 Pineda Plaza Way, Palm Shores, FL 32940.
