ORLANDO, Fla., February 2017 - Lynnette Hendricks, broker-owner with Florida East Coast Real Estate Inc. in Merritt Island, has been installed as District 2 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state's largest professional association. She will serve her fellow professionals in District 2, which encompasses Volusia and Brevard counties. Hendricks is a member of the Space Coast Association of Realtors®.
"Vacation and second-home sales are exploding in our market," says Hendricks, who is active in residential brokerage. "We expect to see that trend continue to offer opportunities to both buyers and sellers this year."
A leader in regional, state and national real estate organizations, Hendricks served as 2016 president of the Space Coast association and has been active in numerous committees. She has been a director of Florida Realtors, and also served on the Resort & Second Homes Specialist Forum, as well as other committees and forums. Hendricks has been a director of the National Association of Realtors® and a member of NAR's Resort & Second Homes Committee.
As district vice president for the state association, Hendricks will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors' support, services and advocacy programs for real estate professionals. "We will continue to provide our members with the tools, services and education programs that are so vital to delivering exceptional service to buyers and sellers," she says.
Hendricks says Realtors are effective advocates for homeownership throughout the state and nation. "Our members have big dreams for their communities," she says. "We are active civic leaders with a personal commitment to changing the lives of Florida children, adults and families for the better."
