This course will focus on educating REALTORS® on how to recognize and guide their clients through navigating the difficult landscape of filing and handling an insurance claim. The goal is to educate attendees on their client’s rights and duties as a policy holder and what role certain people or vendors play during the insurance claims process for residential or commercial properties.
This class will provide information on how to determine if any current or future listings have any damages, are those damages potentially covered by their client’s insurance policy, and what steps should be taken to ensure the best chance for a successful recovery so it is a win-win for the buyer, seller, and the agent.
