The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation demonstrates to peers and consumers your commitment to providing outstanding service for real estate buyers. The goal of the ABR® Designation Course is to establish a foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed as a buyer’s representative. Participants learn to:
- Build a buyer- representation business
- Value the services you perform on behalf of buyer-clients
- Increase confidence to work toward a signed buyer representation agreement if written buyer representation agreements are customary in your market
- Gain methods, tools, and techniques to provide the support and services that buyers want
This two day course meets the core education requirements to earn the Accredited Buyer's Representative® Designation. Instructor:
Omar Capellan owns and operates a real estate brokerage firm in Cape Canaveral, FL. He is a certified FEMA inspector, commercial Real Estate investor, Real Estate Broker and holds both GRI and RENE designations. Omar was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1993 to attend college. He began a second career as a real estate investor in the residential market in 2000. In 2005, he obtained his real estate license. In 2008, Omar transitioned to full-time property management, and in 2012 he became a licensed broker. In 2012, Omar was appointed Chairman of the Business and Economic Development board for the City of Cape Canaveral. In 2017, he was appointed to be part of the Planning & Zoning board for the City of Cape Canaveral. He engineers creative transactions and financing options for his clients. Due to his dynamism, he keeps students engaged and the student’s remarks and evaluations are very positive. Omar’s interests include investments, learning, flying, and he is a triathlete.
Florida licensees will earn 8 hours of Specialty CE Credit upon successful course completion. All REALTOR® attendees will receive credit towards NAR's ABR® Designation.
