You’ve had an introduction to commercial real estate and you weren’t scared off... in fact, you were intrigued and want to know what to do next in your quest to become a commercial specialist. Or maybe you have already dabbled in commercial real estate and want to know what more you can do to break into the field. The purpose of this class is to tell you what those “Next Steps” are, including educational opportunities available, how to land your first true commercial position, the best way to get commercial listings, and once you get a listing show you how to market the property effectively. You’ll leave the class more knowledgeable on what to do next and more confident that you can move forward in the direction of being a commercial real estate specialist.

Instructor

Linda Olson, REALTOR®, GREEN, is a course author and instructor, is part of the Florida REALTORS® faculty, teaches classes through GAR’s PIE program and is a TREC approved sponsor and instructor. Linda is approved by NAR to teach their Green Designation and Discovering Commercial Real Estate courses. Linda has been writing and teaching since 2010. Linda obtained her real estate license in 2005 and brings a unique perspective to real estate as she also has 20+ years of experience as an environmental consultant. Linda uses this expertise to assist Owners, Buyers, & Investors regarding the intricacies of developing/optimizing/selling and buying environmentally-challenged property. Linda also assists Landlords and Tenants with property leasing.
In addition, for 10+ years Linda was actively involved with the local HBCA allowing her to gain important contacts and knowledge on “green” building techniques and improving a home’s energy efficiency. Linda has been awarded NAR’s Green Designation.


Florida licensees will earn 3 hours of Specialty CE Credit upon successful course completion.
