It is not too late to apply for the Small Business Assistance Program through Brevard County for business support in the continued wake of COVID-19. These grants (up to $10,000) are here to support you as a direct result of loss of revenue from the pandemic. Participation in E-Verify is required to apply for this grant, however, as recently announced and important to note, all businesses in the State of Florida will now be required to utilize E-Verify. Please see attachment for more information!

The Brevard County Business COVID-19 Response Team has been monitoring closely business assistance for our community. We strongly encourage each and every one of you to register for E-Verify, and apply for this assistance if applicable. If you have received assistance in the past in the form of the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, the Paycheck Protection Program, or more, you are still eligible to apply! Find the entire list of criteria here. FUNDS MUST BE ALLOCATED BY DECEMBER 30!

We are pleased to inform you that Brevard County Commissioner Curt Smith, District 4, is planning to assist the small business community even further as the CARES Funds come to a close. For all businesses who have applied for and received a grant in the amount of $10,000, but still have a delta in income versus expenses, please reach out to Kathy Wall at Brevard County at 321-637-5337. Commissioner Smith is offering additional assistance by way of a grant with no perceived cap as long as a loss can be shown. The exact dollar amount will depend on how many businesses reach out, but this could be over and above the $10,000. ALL SMALL BUSINESSES, NON-PROFITS AND RESTAURANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
