DBPR Again Extends Deadline for Renewing Real Estate Licenses

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) has twice postponed the licensing deadline for state licensees who originally had to be renewed no later than March 31, 2020. In the latest change, those licensees now have until Dec. 31, 2020, to complete required courses and pay their fees. Licensees with a Sept. 30, 2020, license renewal deadline have also received an extension to Dec. 31, 2020.

DBPR explained the change in an email it sent to licensees that “provides important information regarding the renewal deadline extension currently in effect for your license renewal and helpful instructions regarding the service available to you to self-print your license directly from your online account with the Department,” which you can read below.
